Come walk the Adrian 4th of July Parade

*|MC:SUBJECT|*
In celebration of the Independence Day holiday the LenDems are participating in the Star Spangled Pride - Fourth of July Parade hosted by Civitan of Lenawee. We can't tell you how much we need to make an impact on this parade. We need to let Lenawee County know that we are here in the community and to show support for Democratic candidates participating with us.

There are many fun ways to be involved. We’d like to have a few cars decorated in red, white, and blue flags, bunting, streamers and the like. This is a great chance to show your support for our Democratic candidates with signs or by soaping your windows. Dress up your motorcycle with Old Glory, some handlebar streamers, and use those pipes to draw some attention. Perhaps decorate a sign to carry or lend a helping hand to those handing out literature.
We will need two volunteers to walk holding the LenDems banner at the head of the Democratic Party procession. We’ll also need volunteers to hand out water. In past years we’ve given out candy. This year we’re going to be handing out bottled water (not Nestle) to the folks watching the parade.
Line up on St Joseph St in Adrian begins at 9 AM. The parade starts at 10 AM. The parade will proceed down Greenly to Maumee and down Maumee to Monument Park (close to the post office). If you would like to help with preparations for the parade over the coming week (helping get water, adding stickers to bottles, decorating truck displayed side panels, decorating vehicles, making signs, etc.), please contact Juanita Kelly via email (click here).
We hope to see you there, Forward! Together!
